Description

THE COLLECTION is currently seeking a professional, responsible, and detail oriented individual to fill the position of Financial Assistant to our Vice President/Chief Financial Officer.  The financial assistant will perform accounting as well as certain administrative tasks.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

§  Prepare and update multiple financial reports using Microsoft Excel

§  Act as liaison between select vendors and the office of the Chief Financial Officer including procurement of supplies, review of invoices, research and negotiation of charges, and reporting of results

§  Prepare correspondence from the office of the Chief Financial Officer using Microsoft Word and coordinate distribution

§  Maintain select administrative duties including screening of telephone calls to the office of the Chief Financial Officer, updating of executive calendar, and assisting with travel plans

Requirements

§  General accounting knowledge including the ability to prepare accounting schedules

§  Strong analytical skills

§  Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

§Exceptional communication skills

§  Exceptional interpersonal skills

§  Accounting or Business degree from an accredited college or university preferred
